The peeps minus Eric, our unofficial photographer.

Out of the 3 places I have been to in Spain (Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid), Valencia was probably the most chill/relaxing city out of the 3.

We honestly went there with a blank itinerary and just planned along as we roam about the city.

It was without a doubt a real nice change from our hectic schedule in Barcelona.

Actually, it was a real change from all of our previous group trips.

They were really fun and enriching but they were also quite hectic and stressful.

So Valencia was definitely a much welcomed change.

Warning: This post is picture heavy on food. Don't say I didn't warned you :)

With the ladies.

It took us around 3 hours ish to get to Valencia from Barcelona by train.

So needless to say, we were dead hungry after arriving.

It took us forever trying to find a restaurant to eat in.

Most places were closed even though it was late morning already.

I think I found my fellow non-early birds here in Valencia.

Spot the McD.

An orange tree. Sorry, I was a jakun having never seen an orange tree before.

Kept seeing this almond milk stand everywhere on the street.

It was pretty good. Tasted like really sweet soy milk.

Spot the pigs at the back.. Wasn't impressed with their gelato though.

Dinner time without half of the group because they decided to unleash their master chef skills with the seafood they bought from the market.

Judging from these 2 pictures of us girls.

I think we can agree that the resting bitch face is very real.

We went to Mercado Central aka the central market of Valencia the next day in search for food but it was more of a raw food market instead.

Olives. Regretted not buying them as we couldn't find better ones in Madrid.

We brought a few of these home. Best decision ever!

Preserved shark. I did not expect to see this.

We rented some bicycles after the market as the boys wanted to cycle to the beach that we found on our first day.

Our landlord had mentioned about a bicycle rental shop nearby our accommodation when we first arrived and of course the boys were excited to bike around the city.

To my horror of course as I didn't know how to cycle -.-

But more on our biking adventure and the beach in my next post (If i ever get to it).
